Just when I thought I was getting to a point of where I was able to accept the fact that I have Multiple Sclerosis I get thrown a curve ball. Wednesday, February 10th I had an appointment with my therapist (whom I really like. I am so happy to be under some quality Doctors.) My therapist suggested I give my neurologist a call to see when I could expect to hear from her. I did this and with in a few hours my neurologist assistant/nurse called me stating she could only discuss the radiologist report with me as my neurologist had not yet reviewed the films and would the next day. She said the radiologist report of the January 29th 2010 agreed with the December 1st2009 MRI. To my surprise Thursday afternoon my neurologist called she said she did not think I had Multiple Sclerosis. She suggested I get a second opinion.

Friday, February 12, 2010 I went to see my primary physician who tried reassuring me. But I feel I’m back a few weeks as we scheduled some more tests! Yep, more! First, Next Wednesday February 17th I am scheduled for a 2D Echocardiogram with bubble study and a second test Saturday, February 20th and yes its one more MRI this on of my T and C Spine. I will then visit with my primary physician again Wednesday, February 24th and we will discuss the results.

I’m very confused right now. But I do understand that getting to the Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis isn’t easy. And well maybe I don’t have it. But that sure brings up a lot of questions from me. I am thankful all these tests are being done right away and getting done. Let’s eliminate everything or find something something is damaging my brain!

Edit: I want to add that I did change to a different antidepressant this week. It’s in the same family as Lexapro but has a much cheaper generic form.
