American Idol Season 7 Top 24

We are officially underway now… The Top 24 were reveled tonight! I am a big American Idol fan. I have watched the show since day one and have yet to miss an episode. Todays show with the final judgment of whi will be the top 24 was fantastic. It was an emotional rollercoster not only for the American Idol contestants but for myself as well. I sat on the edge of my seat with tears in my eyes as they went thru each contestant. Oh, I bet that elevator ride is a long one!

I had already picked a few favorites. It was sad to see a few like Josiah Leming & Kyle Ensly get voted off but I am ver excited about the top 24 just the same. In the past early on I have predict the contestants that have done very well in this competition. Bo Bice was a favorite of mine VERY early on as was Taylor.

There are a few contestants that really jump out at me. Although, Jason Yeager, Jason Castro, Luke Menard, Garrett Haley I really have yet to gain an opinion because I have not been able to see them sing. :o) Time will tell.

• David Archuleta, Wow, does this boy have it all. He is the full package that they look for. David is from here in Salt Lake City like myself although I didn’t know that until tonight. I plan on being a big supporter. I think he will win even at this early date.
• Amanda Overmyer she brings alot to the table. I love her attitude as well as her unique voice style.
• David Cook I really like David he is one talented young man. No his looks are not the best but I think he sounds like Scott Strap of Creed and what he sounds like is what’s important!
• Carly Smithson I lust love her! I lover her old stuff I hope she shines on AI.
• Brooke White who also has local ties I am not sure will make it into the top 12 but I really like her, she reminds me of Carly Simon. I so can see Brooke singing the Winnie the Pooh song!
