David Archuleta made a suprise (to most) appearance last night (Saturday, November 29th) at the Osmond Family Christmas which was held The Capital Theatre in Salt Lake City, Utah. David Archuleta was introduced towards the end as a high school kid they brough in to replace a brother who is away on an LDS Mission.

He was said to replace the brothers part in the bell’s song & Archie walks in with a small bell. He stood on the end of the line smiling and shrugging while all the brothers, each with two larger bells, played the Christmas song–no part for David. Finally as the song ended David was supposed to ring his little bell. There was a moment of silence just before, when someone from the audience yelled “I love you, David!” He laughed and rang his bell.

David. did not sing any songs alone. After the bell presentation he sang with the Osmonds in a medley of three songs, “O Holy Night“, “Mary, Did You Know?” and (I think) “Amazing Grace”. He was, however, featured and sang some lines by himself. After the medley he left the stage and the Osmonds sang some additional numbers. The songs sung with Archie were not listed on the program.

David Osmond was also there. It is rumored that David Osmond, not only auditioned for Season 8 but also made it to Hollywood week. Also, it is rumored that Anna Kaelin, the daughter of David Archuleta’s vocal coach, Dean Kaelin, has also made it to Hollywood week.
