American Idol Season 8 Top 6/7 Double Elimination! Who’s going home tonight?

Tonight Wednesday, April 22 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) we will send two of the Top 7 finalists; Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, , Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Lil Rounds, and Anoop Desai home. And David Archuleta(Season 7, Runner Up) will perform his new single, “Touch my Hand.” In addition, three Disco icons – Harry Wayne “KC” Casey (of KC and the Sunshine Band), Thelma Houston and Freda Payne – will perform a medley of their hits “Get Down Tonight,” “Don’t Leave Me this Way” and “Band of Gold.” The word is that Syesha Mercado (Season 7, 3rd Place) is said to be performing on the Top 5 Elimination show. Also, Previous plans have been changed and Jordin Sparks (Season 6, Winner) will now perform on the Top 3 show the Archie was previously scheduled for |
