I have been listening to the iTunes Top 12 full length recordings and I have to say my favorites are
David Cook's performances. He sounds just like the way he did on the show but just a little more edge. I can't tell you how much I LOVE "Eleanor Rigby" not only is it on my PC and iPod...
it is now my ringtone, answertone its every where.
Hey fantastic news American Idol and iTunes have just partnered together to
bring music and videos straight to your iPod! They have set up a
special section in the iTunes store. Starting with the Top 24
semifinalists this week, customers can purchase music performances
for 99 cents per song, and viewers will be able to purchase and
download the full video of Top 12 finalist performances for $1.99,
starting March 12. In addition, beginning today, fans can pre-order
performances of their favorite contestants from the iTunes Store,
which will be downloaded automatically the day after the show airs!
Even better iTunes will also provide exclusive direct links
from the free streaming performance videos on americanidol.com.
Fans will be able to simply click through to iTunes if they want to
purchase their favorite performances to own and enjoy on your iPod,
iPhone or AppleTV. Sweet!
