The auditions for season 8 were held in Kansas City, Missouri. Auditions were heald in St. Louis, Missouri for season 4.

Officially no as the schedule with the set air date is not out yet. But my best guess is May 26th and 27th. As for the week with two songs Top 5. I can only give you what is currently posted above for the 2hr question. I will update tonight with a few more dates but thats all I have for now.

Hey Vicki, I loved the show I wish it had been longer so we could see more contestants. I am becoming a big Taylor Vaifanua fan. I also look forward to seeing a bit more of Megan Corkrey… see her do a few differant styles.
i think the choices week won’t be at the top 3 this year because of Kara joining the show i think they’ll do it on top 4 but i can be wrong i don’t know…
i think david osmond should be the winner, not because david osmond is 1 of the G2 group the 2nd osmond boy band and alan osmond son. because i think that all the contestants, also i think that the judges where too hard on david osmond. and i do not care won’t people say about the osmonds thet are the very best family group, boy band in the world and i’ve been an osmond fan from the age of 8 years old and i always will be around for the osmonds.

Why would they have a ‘Michael Jackson’ week, when time and time again the judges give contestants a hard time for trying to sing Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey songs? I predict Michael Jackson will be a huge disaster…..
I agree with you, Katie. Although I like MJ’s music…there are not many people who can tackle his music. It will definitely separate the “men from the boys”. I’ll be prepared with both ear plugs and the remote volume button close at hand.
Danny Gokey is going to win!!! He’s just an INCREDIBLE singer. The others are good, but not Danny Gokey good.
What is this with Danny Gokey, he could not hold a persons attention in a concert cause he is not handsome and has no stage presence, even Simon said that..
I am 69 years old and I know talent when I see it….Adam is the only one I could watch in a concert, he keeps it rolling and he is so handsome too….

I have struggled a bit this season finding my idol. Last year was so easy. I knew right away (Top 24) David Cook was my idol. I didn’t think he would win til much later. Season 8 seems a bit off after Season 7. I so miss Season 7!
But here is what I think… Adam will win. I am not a big fan but I think “Mad World” was the best performance of the season.
I think the top three will be Adam, Danny and Allison.
But my idol is actually Matt.
