Musical History:Film and The Rising - band the signed with Madonna’s Maverick Records but the label folded before his band could release the album. He was close to signing with Columbia when
that label merged. He had similar trouble recently with an independent label for his solo album.
Notewothy: Johns is unrelated to Michael Johns, the American business executive, former White House speechwriter and prominent conservative writer of the same name.
